On October 26th, 2019, Wherefour released update 3.5, which added some new features to its mobile-friendly, cloud-based platform for food, beverage, and natural product manufacturers.
A few of the highlights from this release include the following:
- The inventory trace report can be restricted by stock lot status.
- A new barcode scan process for pick and ship helps speed fulfillment. With this new feature, manufacturers only need to enter a barcode (or lot code) and then a quantity to complete the pick and ship form.
- Additionally, requirements plans (formerly known as resource plans) will now factor in the worst case lead time for sub-ingredients so you can plan for all scenarios.
This release will streamline and provide insight into a number of day-to-day tasks for many of our clients. Stay tuned for future enhancements and release notes. Until then, if you have any questions about Wherefour or would like a demo, give us a call or send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will be happy to assist you.
