Karen Burns Named as One of the “Forever Influential Women” in Bay Area Business

Burns has been recognized for the past two consecutive years as a “Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business” by the publication. As a distinguished alumnus, she has been prestigiously honored this year as a “Forever Influential Woman.”
This honor includes women professionals who demonstrate exceptional leadership, achievement, and influence within their industry and across their communities. Recipients will gather at a June 4, 2015 event bringing together the highest-ranking, most prominent women in regional business to celebrate their contributions in leadership, community service, and mentorship.

Karen has more than 20 years of experience providing financial and business consulting services to companies in a variety of industries, with a particular passion for the manufacturing and distribution sector. For more than seven years, Karen Burns has been an integral part of Sensiba LLP, a leading regional CPA and business advisory firm. She is also co-founder and president of the East Bay Manufacturing Group, an exclusive forum for C-level manufacturing executives. She has great depth of experience working with rapidly growing manufacturing companies, from start-ups to multigenerational family businesses, helping them to identify opportunities, challenges, and trends. Karen is also passionate about bringing an end to breast cancer by walking hundreds of miles and raising thousands of dollars for the cause, including Avon 39 2-day walk to the end breast cancer, which she has participated in for more than 10 years.
